Steve Harvey's JUMP (book) inspires teachers to look for projects and products that students can create and offer through business cards
Let's celebrate collections of projects.
Let's celebrate teachers and authors who have offered a way to guide students toward project and JUMPING.
=========
If you are looking for a list of projects and a way to help students gauge "Have I done a good job?," then go to this book. Students who want to build a portfolio of projects and products can eventually use those items to build a portfolio for graduation. Some states offer a pathway to a diploma based on work presented in a portfolio. See High Tech High school and the portfolios that students offer. www.TINYURL.com/AbelSite is an example. and New Tech High school in Sonoma has a similar system of asking students to show the world what they can do with what they have learned. www.Newtechhigh.org/portfolio
I also recommend as a companion to this book the list of questions to guide students and teachers that Big Picture Learning users. When you visit the school, you can see the questions on the wall. They are presented in the Advisor 101 book that BigPicture.org offers.
www.TINYURL.com/BigPictureLearningGoals148 is a source, too.
Finally, look at Matt Blazek's collection of ideas at www.TINYURL.com/BlazekProjects. A video describing the collection is at www.TINYURL.com/MattBlazek.

This is a review that I posted on books.Google.com
